My name is Daphne Kramer, and I graduated from Communication & Multimedia Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam in June 2018.
After graduating I packed my essentials and flew to Australia and New Zealand, to go backpacking by myself for a few months. I learned how to be independent, to think problem-solving and to be flexible in changing circumstances.
From April 2019 until May 2022 I was working at Talpa Network in Hilversum. Within Talpa Network I was part of the ‘Talpa Online Platform’ team, which includes brands such as JUKE, 538, Radio 10, KIJK and Hart van Nederland. Within the product team, I was part of the discovery and delivery process, working multidisciplinary with the product, tech, content, data and marketing team.
One of the highlights in my career was winning a Spinaward in the category Young Talent. The project was called Fietsie and is also featured on my portfolio.
I like to spend my spare time going on high teas with friends, browse through my design books or create watercolor paintings. Since I have no pets, I love treating all of my plants like one and keep as many alive as possible. You can also find me very often on the softball field, and as a captain of my team I try to make sure we’re winning every game.
I’ve always had a passion for writing. When I was a kid I loved writing stories and fairytales. As a teenager I had my own blog which I updated once or twice a week with posts about everything related to beauty. And nowadays I still write. I share my UX/UI knowledge by writing posts on Medium.
